UBN, a smart farm company, has completely upgraded its existing cloud-based smart farm system, FarmLink, to a generative artificial intelligence (AI) function, drawing attention from agricultural officials.

FarmLink, which can control the complex environment of facility houses and indoor vertical farms through wireless communication-based sensing and control, has the advantage of freely installing and moving devices using its own wireless network and batteries.

Now, with the 'FarmLink AI Chatbot' based on ChatGPT (GPT), a generative AI, users can easily analyze data, monitor greenhouses, automatically control based on monitoring, and control integrated data through KakaoTalk.

In particular, it is attracting attention from the smart farming industry by improving the problem of “hallucination” (the phenomenon of plausibly generating information that does not actually exist), which is a barrier to the utilization of generative AI in agriculture, with its search-enhanced generation (RAC) technology.
